Find your Fit at House of Curves

Updated: May 9, 2022

Marie Hutchison had worked in the oil and gas industry for many years before deciding to start making a difference in women’s lives. Understanding how well-fitting and fashionable clothing can make a significant impact on how a person feels, Marie decided to take a risk in the name of inclusive fashion by opening her own exclusively plus-sized clothing boutique. Opening in November 2020, House of Curves Canada had their first shop in a Kingsway Mall boutique. After experiencing growing demand for their high-quality clothing and personable customer service, they expanded to their own shop at the Mercer Market in our very own downtown YEG.

Where can I find this place?

On the corner of 104 Street and104 Avenue, House of Curves Canada is conveniently located along the 104 Street promenade that many of Zipstall’s other local partner businesses call home. Inside the historic Mercer Building, you’ll find several other local businesses including our partner the Shoe Shine Shack, and even your friendly neighborhood Zipstall team! In addition to being able to spend your Local Dollars left, right, and center, the 104 Street promenade also hosts Al Fresco every Saturday throughout the summer where of course, you’ll see Marie on June 25th

What Marie is doing for you

Being located on this bustling promenade, at certain times the Mercer Building can be difficult to access by car. Luckily, Marie has taken this problem into her own hands by setting up a Zipstall Validation partnership to give her valued customers a $2.00 credit on parking at the Precise Parklink surface lot on 106 Street and 104 Ave 2-minute walk away. That’s almost 45 minutes of free parking time! Check out their Instagram @houseofcurvescanada for more details.

As of this week, you can now also redeem $5.00 Local Dollars at House of Curves Canada for any accessory or candle to go with your brand new outfit.
